I should add that I suspect a little of my perspective was born of the fact 
that my grandfather who was a keen photographer all his life had not one 
landscape image without a person featuring in it. I suspect that he had to have 
a person in frame or he felt it was a waste of film, he alluded to the 
suggestion of scale :-)
