Dust isn't a problem if you're careful. I wouldn't change lenses in a sandstorm without putting the camera under my coat, but in normal conditions it's not a problem. Cleaning the sensor is fairly easy as well. I blow mine off with a sterile ear syringe about once a week or so. It appears to be spotless, and I frequently change lenses in the field. If I have to put it down on a table or on my box while changing lenses, I place it face down. And I try to minimize the time that the lens mount is bare.

Have any of the *istD shooters run into the "ccd dust issue" and is it really an issue when switching lenses? So when I get one of the digital bodies, should I go with a zoom to minimize lens changes? If yes does anyone want my FA 24, 35 2.0 AF, 77 or FA*300???

Thank you
