Same thing happened to mine, was fine one day and 2
months later one of the elements had seperated.
This seperation is what causes the "fogged" effect.
Mine was tthe second element in from the rear.
It appears to be common on these lenses and there
is no way to fix it, the lens is probably junk now.
I replaced mine with another model since this is
common to the 28-70/4 AL.
No point in buying another of the same.
