I agree.  I've had two do the same. I returned the first used lens for my
money back. Pentax cleaned the second one but within a few months it was in
terrible condition.  I threw it in the garbage and never looked back.  It's
a shame because I liked the lens.  I gave my very first one to my daughter.
I might get it back and see how it is holding up.  She only takes digital
pictures now.  No problems with any of my other lens.
