I like that they are comparing the scanner output and not the optical print as I would sacrifice a little resolution for the ability to manipulate the picture in Photoshop. I even like the comparison of the affordable scanner output to digital as that is what I can buy. What I don't like is cropping 35mm film to APS size and then comparing to 6MP digital. That way you can compare large format to 6MP digital and digital would win and only because of lack of noise, that is just stupid.
