Yeah, I'm getting the sense that the days for color film are numbered, and, frankly, that's OK with me. From what I've seen of good digital color work it's a more than acceptable alternative. I'd really like to see more latitude in digi sensors so those fried highlights aren't so obvious and frequent. I suppose it's just a matter of time .... maybe some real 14-bit or 16-bit sensors will do the trick, maybe RAW is better than I think it is, and I need to understand its use both in camera on thru Photoshop better, although maybe I'm asking too much from the system. After all, the latitude of film is limited, and many photogs advocate shooting only at certain times of the day, or in shade or overcast or partly cloudy situations in order to control contrast and reduce harsh shadows, so why should digital be expected to be an exception?. But, overall, I'm finally starting to like what I see with digicolor
