LX/AF280T?

Hello.

Here's a little dilemma I wonder if any of you have come across. LX & AF280T 
- flash in A mode - all fine & dandy. Flash in TTL mode - mirror locks up. 
Not the flash - tried another one - does the very same thing.

Any ideas?
