I have it set for instant review, as much for the histogram as anything else.  
As my battery depletes, I turn it off. 

It's a bit annoying, actually.  One second is too fast to check the histogram;  
three is too long (sometimes I get spooked when the LCD lights up and my eye 
is still in the finder).  But I prefer checking myself.  

The weird thing is, I'm not nearly as anxious with film.
