I rarely review while shooting. But I do it more with the DSLR than with the Optio when I'm starting a session of shooting because I frequently have to set exposure compensation (the Optio gets the exposure right, without input from me, far more often than the *istD does). Once I'm set for the situation I don't review in camera. And the LCD isn't set for instant review in any case. In fact, most people to whom I've shown my Optio were confused by the fact that they couldn't get the display to stay on (they usually wondered if the batteries were dead) because I've turned it OFF and use the viewfinder. When my son borrows the Optio, he goes through batteries a lot faster because he *does* use the LCD. ERNR
