I usually use Fuji Extra-Superia-press (they all seem to be the same film in different packaging) in 100, 400, and 1600 speed depending upon the lighting levels available. But then all my lenses are f/2.8 or faster.

That said I have a bunch of Kodak Gold 100 that I got for %0 cents a roll, and Polaroid 400 that was given to me in the fridge. Mostly, I have to be cheap so whatever is cheapest that works is what I use.

B&W, I have a darkroom (when I get the energy together to set it up) so I use the old fashioned stuff. 35mm I mostly use 400 speed, with 4x5 I use 200 speed film shot at EI/100.

In my humble opinion, processing affects the final print far more than film choice these days. That was not so a couple decades back, but without a wayback machine that fact means nothing.
