Kodak Ultra 400 is my favorite all-around ISO 400 film. The colors are quite rich. It is also high in contrast (which, here in the Southwest with our high-contrast light, needs to be watched). It will be more expensive than the Fuji. If it's too expensive, you might try a roll for special landscape shots.
I recommend avoiding Agfa Vista 400. In my experience it turns muddy in low light. It is sold at Walgreen's as their house brand, and at Walmart rebadged as Polaroid.
In time, get a dslr and you will stop worrying over which film to use.
