No, no, no, no! There is a saying - the waste basket is the writer's best friend. It applies to more than just writers though. There is an old joke about university departments: "Mathematics is the 2nd cheapest department. All they need is pencils, paper and a wastebasket. Theology is the cheapest - they don't need the wastebasket."
