I have used two brands of mice, Genius and Logitech. After trying out the Logitech, I threw the Genius into the closet for backup only. Both were the normal optical models, with scroll wheel but without fancy features. The Logitech has apparently better sampling rate or something. I can move the cursor more confidently and accurately than with the Genius.
