Of course I leave the batteries in the camera for multiple shoots. Lithium AAs will reliably deliver at least 2000 exposures when used with the battery grips. Of course I never travel without a spare set, and I have two bodies. I've had too many bad experiences with rechargable reliability. Lithiums are foolproof. Paul
