Not in mine, but I gusss that depends on which way you turn the umbrella.
Used to reflect the flashlight, an umbrella works like a parabola, creating
a beam of light on to the object.

My experience in the studio is exactly the opposite. Softboxes hit
the subject with a "wall of light", which is very harsh.
Umbrellas, by their nature, wrap the subject in much softer light.
