It's not going to be all that fast; I just bought the enclosure, and put my old 100GB image drive into it. I don't have a FW800 system to test it on, either (or I'd have known about connectors). Hunting around on the 'net for specs on the various units prior to purchase had several places touting the unit I purchased (or one apparently identical to it) as FW800. Maybe there is, in fact, a different FW800 model.
