GOOD! <vbg> > > I love my '94 S-10 Blazer (which I seem to remember Frank had no problem > climbing into when he wanted a ride at GFM). I don't recall being in your vehicle, but then again there are portions of that weekend that are a bit fuzzy... <vbg> Seriously, there are places for SUV's. The mountains are such a place. I have no problem with people in rural or even semi-rural areas, especially if those places have snow or mud (I'm guessing that covers just about all rural places! <VBG>) using SUV's or any other 4 wheel drive vehicles. They only make sense there. In addition, such sparsely populated areas can absorb much of the pollution that those vehicles produce. Not so in the city, where production of pollutants has long since gone past critical mass, and just goes straight up into the atmosphere. (note: the previous pollution theory is completely unsubstantiated and unproven, and just my guess as to how things work...) Vehicle size isn't such an issue in the country, but it is in the city. But, I said I didn't want to rant about SUV's... <g> cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson
