You obviously like them both.  so the question, really, is
whether the financial gain you will realise by selling one
is worth more to you than the pleasure of ownership.

In my case, it wasn't.  I think both cameras represent the
culmination of their particular line of development, so I
elected to keep both.  (This was well before the arrival of
the *ist-D; my day-to-day cameras were a PZ-1p and an MZ-S).

Of the two, though, I must admit I prefer the MX.  In fact
I like it so much that I bought a second (black) MX just as
a backup, in case my original (chrome) MX gives up the ghost.

Both my cameras are "one owner since new, reasonably lightly
used, but showing signs of use", and each served as my main
camera for quite a while (MX: 1976 - 1983; SP: 1983 - 1995).
