the UPC code says 12 Megapixels. if that's really the case, there is only
one 12MP sensor out there for DSLR use and the OEM cost is professionally
priced. there is no way that Pentax can sell it for a lot less than $5KUS
list, which is the Nikon D2X list, and at that price, certain features have
to be there or no-one buys it. at 8PM, there are only Canon DSLR sensors and
they will not OEM to anyone else for a very long time.

have manufactured the full frame MZ-D.
I guess what we might see from Pentax will be a 8-10Mp prosumer DSLR.
