Paul, Don't confuse Scott. The M series lenses are quite nice and plenty good. They will take most zooms, hands down anytime! And once he's got most of the M series, he can start branching out into the newer A and older K lenses... ;-) Should we tell him about the LX? Regards, Bob S.
