This is another area where Photoshop CS does a much better job
than Photoshop 7 did. I now print directly from [EMAIL PROTECTED]
color originals and the conversion to the HP printer driver has
required virtually no printer-specific adjustment at all. In PS6
and 7, I had to made custom printer file versions with changes
to transfer function and or different gamma, reduction to 8bit,
etc.
