No, I don't worry too much about it. I use wire transfers frequently. However, Mark was concerned and it seemed appropriate to mention that there are some downsides and risks. And, since I know several ways that a bank account can be compromised when the information needed to execute a wire transfer is passed along (Name of bank, bank account name and number, swift code, bank address), it would be a disservice to Mark (or anyone asking about the safety of such a transaction) not to mention the possibilities, however likely or unlikely.
Let me ask you this: If you feel that such transactions are so safe, would you be willing to send me information about your bank account over the internet and see what I can do with it?
