I haven't used the 16-45mm but the last PESO I posted was shot with it on the *ist-D

A bit of barrel distortion at the 20mm end, it's evident at the ~30mm on the *ist-D. Still it's extremely sharp. I was amazed at how good this looks printed at full res.

Hi

Thanks to all that responded. I am going to get the camera without lens and will probably add the 16-45 at some later point, although the 20-35 and the 24/2.0 are not out of the question. How does the 16-45 compare to the 20-35?

I can understand why mankind hasn't given up war. During a war you get to drive tanks through the sides of buildings and shoot foreigners - two things that are usually frowned on during peacetime.
