Hi zxcv ar2 (how, BTW, do you pronounce that?),
Our family vacation photos are typically shots of "us in front of other
things"--which means "wide". So, for general scenics and people shots, I'd
take ZX-5n and FA 35mm f/2 (and a 77mm f/1.8 Limited if I had one) and I'd
slip a Fuji DL SuperMini Zoom 28-56mm f/4.5-7.5 (7.1 oz) into my wife's bag.
However, if we were going someplace specifically to see small things (like
botanical gardens, butterfly houses, flea circuses, etc.), I'd take a macro
lens, too.
But, absolute minimum, I'd take the ZX-5n and the FA 35mm f/2.
