Bill,
What is that, a 6x7 viewfinder mounted on top of a Nikon?
And how big is it compared to the MX?
You'll have to post pictures when it arrives.

The better question is, how big is it compared to a 6x7?
The F2s was a pretty incredible camera in it's time, and still has some cool features.
The meter is sensitive to something like EV-2, and is readable from the top of the camera, as well as through the viewfinder, the shutter speeds are continuously variable from the sync speed up to the top speed of 1/2000 second (remember, this is a mechanical shutter, not electronicaly timed).
For long exposures, from 2 to 10 seconds, the self timer is used to time the exposure.
The removable prism covers the removable focus screen, so you don't have to go digging around in the mirror box is you want to change screens.
There was an automatic exposure module available the hooked onto the side of the prism and allowed shutter preferred automatic (this doesn't sound like much, until you realize that the camera was produced from the late 60/early 70s, and this was available well before anyone else had a good working autoexposure camera.
The camera is also a workhorse, with a shutter capable of in excess of 1/3 million exposure cycles.
This one was built the year before the one I had when I was a kid, (the first two digits of the serial number is the year of manufacture on Nikon F and F2 cameras).
It is possible to use mirror lock and the self timer at the same time.........

Anyway, it shuld be fun....
