I don't care about full frame.  The 14mm would be as wide as anything
I've owned (even allowing for crop factor), and the 12-24 (which I'll
be taking a good look at) will give me a few new possibilities.
(That's after 33 years of Pentax, almost 30 of which were with K-mount).

I'm quite happy with my *ist-D, and plan to continue using it for a
while.  I'm not worrying about MP; by the time there's a new Pentax
DSLR I expect MP, buffer size, frame rate, etc. will all improve.
I'd be more likely to pick up a new DSLR if it came with some new
technological features (USM, IS, wireless connectivity, ...). But
for now I'll just carry on using my *ist-D, and evaluate any new
DSLR when Pentax announce it (which I don't expect to be inside a
year, with another six months before customer availability.
