Yes. I've never really seen any pattern to which lenses - by model and by year - have the extra baffle collar and which don't. I've got old VS1 lenses with them (although I've removed 'em on most), but I have other VS1 "oldies but goodies" that seemingly never came with the extra metal... Fred
