That's the most important thing :-) You have to feel these things from the heart. Next time you're adjusting your picture in Elements, do some experimenting! If you think you've turned up the contrast too much, turn it up some more! And if you like it, keep it! If there's one thing I've learned over the years, it is that the heart is always right. If I fiddle with a picture, and adjust it the first time, I can then spend an hour doing it 10 different ways, but you know what? I always go back to that first version.
