FWIW, when i showed my portfolio to someone who sees lots of portfolios, 
virtually all from Canon and Nikon shooters, the first thing he said was, 
"wow, look how sharp". he knows that i am a Pentax shooter.

Nikkor for portraits" :-).  I am sure some of those descriptions on 
Nikkors
might have been somewhat exaggerated but the ones for the Pentax Limiteds
are from the critics as well as the horse's mouth :-).
