Epoxy's good enough for me. I've looked at Kirk's once before, and unfortunately their list doesn't include the pair of 58 and 49mm threads needed to use the FA50/1.4 with either the FA100/2.8 macro or A*200/4 macro.

But I agree it is a better solution overall. Price isn't bad either...:-)
