It doesn't make mechanical sense
If two 50mm (K & FA, for the sake of argument) lenses
have the indicator set to f "8" and f "2" is the same
diameter, for the body to close the mechanism down to
f "8" would not the distance be identical?
If not, why?
I've the A & FA 50s but per the discussion they would
operate identically. So I need a K or M. Perhaps at
the flea market tomorrow there will be a cheap option
available.
