Hi Paul,

That's a must interesting shot on several levels.  My first reaction was
that I didn't care for it, but I took a second and a third look, and
realized that I ~did~ like it, essentially.  For the most part, the color
works, although I think it may have been a stronger photo in B&W, although,
while for the most part the colors don't detract from the faces and the
expressions of the kids - the colors are fairly muted and rendered nicely -
the bright green top and purse worn by the blonde girl really pulls my eye
away from the group, and is quite jarring as well.  Perhaps bringing the
green down a bit would help the overall balance of the photo and change my
though about a B&W version. 

Also, there's something odd about the arm of "Green Girl."  Had you noticed
the off color (looks a little blue-ish) just below her elbow? It seems to
have some relationship to the slightly blue highlights on the young man's
face and right hand. Those highlights might render better if slightly
warmer.

Overall I like the pic a lot - it really catches a nice moment - and the
rose adds a little something special to the scene.
