The Sigma EF-500 DG Super is outstanding with the ist-D. It's about $200.00. I haven't tried the less expensive Sigma flash, the EF-500 DG ST but I think it's just slightly lower powered and without some of the advanced features like wireless flash. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
