Bruce, I have a PZ-1p, which I love, and I have been very impressed with the MZ-S.
I'll have one as soon as I can, with the BG-10 grip attached. It is difficult to
describe the camera any way other than to say it really does seem like a cross between
the LX and the PZ-1p.
It's almost as if a faster frame rate would violate the design spirit. If it ran at,
say, 5fps, that's all the spec-buyers/writers would see, and the genius of the rest of
the camera would be lost on them. As it is, we can see right here on the list that
some people just don't get it, and never will.
Don't get me wrong: there are applications where a faster frame rate is probably
necessary. For those applications, there are many cameras available, and I encourage
those who wish to have faster drives to explore those other camera choices. (There.
Was that PC enough?)
The MZ-S is not for everyone. But everyone who gets one will appreciate it. Burt,
Darryl, would you agree?
