Color shifting

I have a few F and FA SMC zoom lenses:
FA 28-70 F4
F 35-70 3.5-4.5
F 28-80 3.5-4.5
FA 28-80 3.5-5.6
I've been comparing them on the *ist DS at 70mm wide open and on all of 
them I found that the color of a distant colorfull object also appears 
on the left of the object. Surprisingly the FA 28-80 3.5-5.6 is the best 
but then it's at F5.6. Is this an issue of these lenses or of the 
camera's CCD? This does not happen at all with my older A70-210mm F4 and 
A35-105mm F3.5 lenses.
