Actually it says "...shall not be infringed." Which the various legislators 
understand to mean a bunch of laws are to be made regulating it.

I don't see what the problem was.  He killed the guy in Canada.  It's
not like he was going to use the bloodied weapons to do bad stuff in
the US.

I also don't know what the problem was with the 'Murricans at the
border letting Dave and me in.  When they saw the camera gear, and
asked us what it was for, we said that we were going to various
nuclear power facilities and military bases along the east coast to
photograph them for posterity, but then I yelled, "JUST JOKING!"

They got real testy after that.  Go figure...
