everyone else must be trying the same strategy since most of them are not
making money, with the exception of Canon and Nikon, and Nikon looks iffy
sometimes. if it were not for DSLRs, Nikon's digital camera division would
be deep in the hole. Canon must be completely out of it then since it
actually made lots of money on the digital camera division. maybe that is
why everyone is buying their stock and lots of Pentax stock has been
unloaded in the past 3 months.

Maybe Pentax is simply looking for an excuse to close the imaging
division. They aren't acting like it though. There may be simply a good
"Tax reason" for the way things are organized.
