Doesn't matter.
The continued existence of film will be a decision based on sales
performance, not imaging performance.
All evidence points to increasingly diminishing sales of film.
At some point, there won't be enough demand to keep it viable as a consumer
item.
Watch for films to start being en masse deleted without replacement within a
year or two.
