Doh! I stated that exactly backwards ... the right statement is "The

the flash card's speed surpasses the bus speed of the camera's IO
interface to the card."

somewhere between a 45x and 60x card ... slower cards are
noticeably slower to write than a 45x, but a 45x and a 60x are
nearly impossible to tell apart. Cards faster than 60x write no
faster than the 60x.
