I like the MX best for objective reasons, comparing it with the *ist DS: the viewfinder is a lot better, the shutter is faster, the camera is lighter and easier to hold, it is more resistant and cheaper so I can carry it around without being worried, battery changes are less frequent, it has a split image focus screen, it makes a more pleasant noise, it gets friendlier looks from people. I also like the DS but I only use the it because digital images are a lot cheaper and more convenient. I think I would also love a LX but they are a lot more expensive and probably just a bit more exciting. I think I will love the ME-F I bought on Ebay a few days ago. Later Pentax cameras I don't find very interesting.
