Is it just me or are the vivitar and cosina exactly the same lens? Yet
the reviewer said that build and optical quality were better for the
cosina and made it a best buy despite it costing �50 more!
Was unfortunate that Sigma 17-35 EX was missed for some reason, and
unfortunate that flare, which is a major problem for wideangles was not
given more prominence. Also rotation of mount for polarisers should
have been a major concern.
Oh well, nice try anyway...

In this weeks Amateur Photograhy there is a test of
wide angle zooms. It notes that the Canon lens is
noticably warmer that all the other brands. The tester
was a little inexperienced IMHO.
