Hi, is anyone able to advise me about use of the above lens on an *istD
Everything seems OK - apart from the fact that the widest f-stop reported by the camera is f-8 Is it possible to get the maximum aperture value of f-7.2, and if not, why not?
The lens is, to the best of my knowledge, in excellent working order, and the camera correctly reports f-stops using other lenses - so is the maximum f-8 when using the sigma 500 f-7.2 a quirk, or a fault?
