Hi Jostein

Working distance was about 0.6 metres - not exactly in macro range. 
The flash to subject distance would be a bit closer because the main
flash is about level with the front of the lens.

The Tamron 90 mm lens focuses down to just under 0.4 metres without
any extension tubes and this is quite adequate for the sort of
subjects that I shoot.
