Actually that's only a by product. If there were no war on drugs the
drug lords and the rebels funding themselves selling
drugs wouldn't have a source of funding and wouldn't be much of a threat.

The War on Drugs has nothing to do with drugs. It has to do with
arming right-wing military types in places like Peru and Equador.
Isn't it a co-incidence that all the so-called Drug Lords in those
places just happen to be Marxist revolutionaries?
