<shrug> Forecast is forecast - i.e. guess work. Maybe an educated guess, but still a guess nonetheless. Especially in a quickly expanding market, the forecast can be widely wrong. Trying to analyse market share using forecast is fruitless; especially using it to predict glooms ahead.
Ken's data is factual, not guess work. And its much more useful to represent the current market condition. As for the future, we just have to sit tight and watch how everything unfolds.
Even for auto industry, where much much more money and thousands of jobs is at stake, and the market condition is much more stable (not quickly expanding), they can still get the forecast and projected sales *totally* wrong.
