Hi Bill,
There's definitely some strength in numbers at work here. When a merchant
gets inquiries regarding poor service from one customer from a distant land,
he stands to lose only one customer. But when he gets inquiries from
someone whom he believes to be representing the interests of a large group
of potential customers -- right in his own backyard -- it's not quite so
easy to ignore. He stands to lose a many customers, and gain a sullied
reputation. And perhaps some legal sanctions of various sorts, from what
Mike tells us. It's certainly in his best interests to seek a favorable
settlement for the customer.
Since Albano appears to have the law in his favor, perhaps it's now best to
let it lie and see what kind of response Mike can get from them.
(Otherwise, it'll be a "friendly" visit from Leica the Wunderhund....
Grrrrrrrrr!!!)
