I have only owned the 16-45 for 10 days. It willl do me just fine for wide and
medium
focal lengths
on my istD,as first test have shown..
Providing the fall didi not damage anything:-)

Now a bit serious. For the love of me, i cannot fiqure out why we argue over
focal lengths
that
differ by 2mm. I admit i am not completly up on some of the past and present
spec's, but i
have seen
some of the results on Knarfs"lowly"(sorry frank) 16mm lens and they have been
great
photos.
