The iBooks and PowerBooks come with Airport cards installed in them. You still need to buy either an Airport Base Station or an Airport Express and hook up to the internet. If you're on broadband, then simply plug up your broadband modem into the Airport Base Station (I don't know much about Airport Express, although I have one coming in the next few days - except that it has a 3.5mm audio mini-jack out, and an ethernet connection). if your broadband modem has a USB connection, you'll need the Airport Base Station. I actually have a modem/router attached to the wall box, and then the Airport Base Station connected to that. Then all the computers in the house connect up wirelessly to the Airport Base Station. The router also acts as a hardware firewall which is added comfort. HTH Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| http://www.cottysnaps.com _____________________________
