Hi Bruce - I never noticed the barrel distortion on my 43mm. Maybe it's the different types of photos we make, maybe I just wasn't looking for it. I now regret having sold it ... IAC, the 40mm won't work on the manual cameras I have, and it would be nice to have optics that will work across both the new and the old camera platforms. Thanks for jumping in ;-))
