Ok, I'm back from holidays now, and I've got more memory cards than I can use for JPEG now that I have daily access to my computer again. (having bought 2x1G cards while on holidays)
So, maybe I should try RAW. But if I do, what do I need? Currently I'm running PSE 3.0, right off the disk, no plug-ins or anything. The Organizer tool does not seem to recognize the RAW files, is there any plugin which would help it support the RAW files? What do you recommend for system configurations for someone relatively new to digital, and definitely new to RAW? (plus, buying CS or CS2 is miles outside the family budget). I know some people use other conversion tools, is that the way to go? (keep in mind budgetary constraints). If I start this, anticipate workflow questions..... thanx dk
